Donald Trump slips up with disastrous response to a reporter asking about a Ghislaine Maxwell pardon.
John Iadarola and Brett Erlich break it down on The Damage Report.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche met with Maxwell in prison for a 3-hour interview and afterwards claimed she gave up 100 names.
“Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche met Thursday with Ghislaine Maxwell, the imprisoned former associate of financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, as part of a renewed Justice Department (DOJ) push for transparency in the high-profile case.
The Florida meeting, which Blanche had previously said he was working to arrange, comes amid mounting pressure from President Donald Trump’s supporters, who have criticized the administration for withholding further records related to the Epstein investigation.
After the meeting, Blanche said he will meet with Maxwell again Friday.
Blanche posted on X just after 7 p.m. Thursday, “Today, I met with Ghislaine Maxwell, and I will continue my interview of her tomorrow. The Department of Justice will share additional information about what we learned at the appropriate time.””
