The Epstein files scandal is raging on. How is Trump implicated in the documents that has him so damn shook?
Author and journalist Michael Wolff possesses hours of conversations with Jeffrey Epstein on tape. Epstein talked about Donald Trump often. And as one of the world’s most notorious sex traffickers, Jeffrey Epstein expressed a damning opinion of Trump when he said, “The moral compass just does not exist.”
Considering: Trump’s “grab them by the pu$$y” comment, the dozens of women who have accused him of sexual assault, his habit of cheating on each wife with the woman he would marry next, the fact that he was found liable for sexual abuse in the E. Jean Carroll case (which the judge said was rape), and his previous admission of how much he enjoyed barging into the girl’s changing room at Miss Teen USA pageants, Epstein’s comment sounds pretty accurate.
Sexual Assault Allegations
Let’s take a moment to look at the women who have come forward with accusations that Donald Trump sexually assaulted them. Each name is followed by their claim about Trump:
President Trump promised he would release the Epstein files if he became President.
Although, when asked if he’d declassify the files during an interview on Fox News, they cut off his response after “Yes.” Later, his full answer was made public. The rest of the response was nervous chatter including, “that one—maybe not so much.”
The Epstein Files Cover-Up Begins
After everything Pam Bondi had done to “tease” the release of the Epstein files, Kash Patel, the new FBI Director and Dan Bongino, the new Deputy Director of the FBI went on TV for a joint interview.
They very awkwardly (awkwardly as in hostage-video-esque) claimed Jeffrey Epstein definitely killed himself in prison, there was no “list,” and no one else was involved—just Epstein and Maxwell.
Every American has seen at least one documentary about the sex trafficker and each one featured Prince Andrew in that infamous photo with one of the victims (and with Maxwell leering in the background like a creeper).

There were other perpetrators as well as boxes of videos that may have been used in a possible blackmail scheme.
No one believed the “FBI bros.”
Shady-ass Trump
Donald Trump was now in the center of a Tasmanian devil whirlwind of Trump supporters and QAnon conspiracists ferverishly demanding he release the Epstein files.
Trump could’ve easily said something smart that would have ended the Epstein file scandal quickly. That would have required thinking before speaking, though.
Instead, he acted nervous, suspicious, and looked extremely guilty.
He attempted to order MAGA to drop it and move on, but that didn’t work. He followed up with a post and Oval Office comments insulting and attacking his own supporters. He went so far as to say, “I don’t need your support,” in reference to anyone still talking about the Epstein files.
Unsurprisingly, some of his supporters were offended by his comments about not needing their support. Surprisingly, they forgave him rather quickly for it.
It seemed to be a daily occurrence: Reporters would ask a question about the Epstein files and Trump would stammer and stutter and weave through some comment that made him look worse!
He told the story of Virginia Giuffre, then 16 years old, working at his spa when Epstein “stole her.” He claimed he kicked him out of Mar-a-Lago, but his timeline is off. They were besties for a few more years after the so-called “theft.”
In his first term, when Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison. A reporter asked Trump if he had anything to say to her and he “wished her well.”
He was asked about that comment several times afterward and he doubled down on “wishing her well” each time.
Back in Time to the Beginning
AG Pam Bondi started the entire Epstein files saga by claiming she was going to release the “client list” that was “on her desk.”
She invited several MAGA influencers to the White House and gave them each a big white binder labeled with “Epstein files: Phase 1.” The contents of the binders included documents that were already publicly available online.
They were made to look like fools.
Bondi went on Fox News to say that the list “was on her desk” and she would release it the following day. She also claimed to have a truckload of documents and evidence she requested from the FBI and the Southern District of New York in her possession.
At some point during all of this, thousands of FBI agents were tasked with going through the hundreds of thousands of documents in the Epstein files to redact Donald Trump’s name.
Bondi never released a “client list” or any other document after the Phase 1 binders.
The “Epstein Cell” Video

The only thing she released to the public after those binders was a video “showing Epstein’s prison cell” on the night he “committed suicide” in prison.
There were several issues with the video: It wasn’t showing Epstein’s cell and there was a minute missing. Wired analyzed the video’s metadata and learned that more than just a minute was missing.
There were actually over two minutes missing. They were able to determine which program was used to modify the video, and discovered the “spot” where the missing time was “cut out” and parts of the video before and after that was “stitched” back together.
The video was confusing considering it had been reported that the security cameras weren’t “working” that night.
The guards weren’t there, the cameras weren’t working, and his cellmate was removed just before Epstein “killed himself.”
A constellation of circumstances that seem a little too convenient to be a coincidental to many people who don’t believe it was a suicide.
Back to the Present
As days have turned into weeks, Donald Trump continues to behave in a way that makes him look nervous, terrified, and guilty. The more comments he makes about Epstein, the more it looks like he’s engaged in a cover-up.
At this point, AG Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, President Donald Trump, and Speaker Mike Johnson are being accused of covering for rich and powerful ‘PDF-files’—men who sexually assaulted teen girls who were being trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
A recent survey asking, “Who’s responsible for hiding the Epstein files,” shows that 81% of the country blames Donald Trump. Pam Bondi is next, at 59%.
It’s nearly impossible to get 80% of Americans to agree on anything.
It’s ironic that as the rich and powerful pit us against each other to keep us from coming together and “looking up,” the Epstein files scandal could be the thing that finally breaks the spell of tribalism and brings the working class together to fight back (their greatest fear).
Fast forward to August, 2025. Trump’s personal lawyer (and number two at the DOJ) traveled to Florida to speak with Maxwell for about 8 hours over two days.
It was only a day or two after the final meeting when Maxwell was transferred from the maximum security prison in Florida to a white-collar criminal “Club Fed” in Texas.
Epstein victims and their family are outraged. No one can explain why she was moved. A reporter asked President Trump and he claimed not to know anything about it. He added, “but that it’s a “very common” thing.”
Not true. Someone convicted of a sex crime is not allowed in a facility without cells, or guards, only freedom. In fact, a special waiver was required for her to be transferred there.
A former Federal Bureau of Prisons Chief said this never happens and is extremely unusual.
So why would they move her? There have already been reports that Maxwell said Trump never engaged in anything inappropriate. Was the transfer a reward?
Opinion time: I don’t believe they would risk the blowback and outrage to move her as a reward for lying to exonerate Trump.
Especially when she can’t be trusted. No, I believe the transfer was granted in order to prevent her from saying what she really knows about Trump’s part in the sex-trafficking ring.
The history of behavior and numerous accusations of sexual assault, especially all of the times he was said to have walked in on naked teen girls, only bolsters the odds that he was involved in abusing some of the girls.
Remember, years ago there was a lawsuit filed by a woman against Trump and Epstein claiming she was raped by them both when she was 16 years old.
